About Han Leentvaar

How it started

Afbeelding Han LeentvaarBack in the 1970s, Han Leentvaar was already fascinated by audio equipment, and that’s when he made his first recordings. This hobby eventually led to the creation of Inside .Audio.

With the rise of the World Wide Web, it wasn’t long before he built his first website (in 2003). One thing led to another, and that’s how Inside .Services came to be. Many of our clients come from the organ and music world, but others have found their way to us as well.

What else do I do?

Playing the organ and organ building have always been his hobbies. He has been the deputy organist at the Pauluskerk and Augustijnenkerk in Dordrecht (since 2008). Previously, he was organist at the Bethelkerk in Rotterdam-Zuidwijk, the Christian Reformed Church in Rotterdam-Charlois, the Restored Reformed Church in Barendrecht, the PZC Dubbelmonde, and for 28 years at ‘De Ark’ in Spijkenisse.

I currently volunteer as a board member of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Augustijnenkerk, a member of the Organ Committee, and webmaster for the websites of the Augustijnenkerk and Reformed Parish Congregations 2 and 7.

My sheet music

In the past, I have occasionally written some music under the title “Organo Dordticum”. Please feel free to download and use this music – you’re welcome to!
I’d also love to hear whether and how you use the music:

The sketch on the first page of volumes 7–10 is by Mar Slingerland, who kindly made it available for this purpose. Thank you, Mar!

Contains:

  1. Choral
  2. Bicinium
  3. Cantus Firmus Koloriert
  4. Fuge
  5. Schlusschoral

This recording is very special to me: it was my first CD recording (1999) and was performed by my friend Gerben Mourik. Who would have thought that he would one day (in 2005) become my son-in-law and go on to achieve such success in the world of the organ? Since that first one, there have been many more wonderful recordings…
